Starting on insulin
The Paradigm pump is intended for use with U100 insulin.
Prepare your pump for use
We recommend that you watch the training CD-ROM enclosed with your pump, and complete your pump start
training, before continuing with the steps in this chapter.
When you are done practicing and ready to use your pump with insulin, you must make sure the time and
date are correct on your pump. You must also program your settings as instructed by your healthcare
professional.
You will need these items:
• Pump
• Insulin (U100)
• Paradigm reservoir and user guide
• Paradigm compatible infusion set and user guide
